The Wilshire Center Interfaith Council, is an interfaith organization formed in the late 1960’s by the religious congregations of Wilshire Center to address the problems of hunger and homelessness in the Wilshire Center area of Los Angeles, California. The greater Wilshire Center area encompasses a three-mile radius.

Wilshire Center is a long established commercial and residential district in the heart of Los Angeles. Wilshire Center is a regional center for commercial office, shopping, residential, and cultural activities. The greater Wilshire Center encompasses a three-mile radius from Wilshire and Normandie. The total employment is about 488,000 with about 636,000 residents.
