Cardinal Roger Mahony blesses newly ordained Bishop Edward W. Clark.

The Variety of culture that is Los Angeles was as evident as ever on March 26 in the ordination of Bishop Edward W. Clark at St. John Chrysostom Church in Inglewood, California. In addition to two dozen bishops and hundreds of priests, there were more than 60 members of the Clark family, led by parents William and Julia, and numerous members of religious and lay communities - notably, from Our Lady of the Angles Region that the new bishop will help serve. Many came dressed in ethnic costume, which added even more color to the Celebration. As the new bishop himself said, "We are like so many patterns of Cloth that blend together to form a magnificent garment, rich in the gifts God has given us."
